Built in 1874 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the Binford House is a historic nonprofit property preserved and cared for by the Marshalltown Federation of Women’s Clubs and supported by local volunteers. Once a private residence for the Binford family rooted in a strong tradition of community service and civic involvement, the home was later gifted by Jessie Binford so it could continue serving the community. Today, the Binford House remains a welcoming historic landmark and community gathering place, offering educational programs, meetings, special events, and private rentals.
